
Interprofessional Education (IPE)
The ¹ú±êÂé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPP Interprofessional Education (IPE) Committee facilitates opportunities to enhance learning and support student development in their respective professions. The IPE Committee promotes instructional and experiential learning activities to prepare students with the competencies required for collaborative practice. The IPE Committee also supports faculty in developing IPE activities.
¹ú±êÂé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPP Programs involved with IPE include:
- Nursing
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Physician Assistant
- Counseling
- Social Work
- Public Health
IPE activities are developed among the ¹ú±êÂé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPP health professions programs faculty. In addition, selected IPE activities are developed with ¹ú±êÂé¶¹ÊÓÆµAPP clinical partners, such as Baylor Scott & White Health and Baylor College of Medicine, Temple Campus.
